for my final exam I will chose these two pictures for sure for the portraits of the young nuns from chili. Actually I wanted to chose two pictures of each young woman and one picture of each nun (I also show the film about them). But which sould I chose of Margarita (with the white head cloth). I prefer the one where she meditates because it is so intimate. Both pictures are shown in the film.

more portraits, also from Jenny. Jenny is born in 1986 and will have her 2nd baby soon (2 weeks). Her boyfriend and father of the children got unemplyed this year because of the global economic crisis. The pictures are not that worked on in photoshop – it is actually to discuss them with some teachers.

here are two pictures of my portrait serie of young women: hanna and isabel.
hanna has an eating disorder since 10 years (!) but now she seems to get better – in the last months she gained 10 kg. Last year she said to me: "could be that i'll never get healthy again".
isabel has a very melancholy character which could be connected to some circumstances of her family... last year she outed herself as a lesbian which is in a small town not that easy.

last chapter – Margarita

This is the last chapter in my film: Margarita. Until now it is without music and any sound but the student from the conservatorium is working on it. I really can't wait for that because in Alejandra's portrait it really worked great!
Blogger is not showing the correct size (although it is working in its preview) the last sentence is:
"When I told my familiy that I enter, they fainted.
They thought it's like dying."

On friday I took pictures on a wedding. It was a very nice day despite the rain and the car which nearly crushed into mine on my way back home – it just turned away when I already thought of driving into the ditch to save my life...

Yesterday and today I took photos of two young ladies I know for my exam. I shot analog, so I cannot see the results yet... I am looking forward to it! On Saturday I have the negatives... the one on this picture I don't know but she has a nice inquiring look in her eyes... I like that.

Today I started with new portraits of young women. Bella was the first one. We know each other since our first birthday.
I shot analog with Hasselblad and some digital. Because she hadn't that much time, we will continue in 3 weeks. On Wednesday I hopefully get the Pentax from the Aki. It is smaller, so I don't need a tripod and have to say:"oh, wait, wait. Hold this!" So I can take pictures more spontanious.

concentration please

since a few days I cannot concentrate... I am nearly getting mad.
Additionaly to my film and pictures of the nuns I am taking pictures of young women to point out the contrast between the different lifes. Actually I wanted to start today but my model wants to do it tomorrow morning. Okidokili.
